what is a safe amount of days prior to competition do you stop consuming liquids?
Drink water until around 6 or 7 Friday night for a Saturday morning prejudging and let the diuretics do the rest. If you're in shape, this is all that's normally needed. I don't know too many guys that cut water out days in advance anymore but I'm sure there are still some.
