    Cheat meals...how often?

I do not do cheat days. I couldn't live with myself if I did. I do cheat meals and do 1-2 a month now. if I am straight up bulking I tend to have one cheat meal a week. How often do you cheat? Favorite thing to cheat with?

Nowadays it seems like 3x a day for me. Ideally I like a cheat meal once a week usually Friday or Saturday. Nothing crazy maybe like 20 chicken wings

Are you talking about cheat days or refeeds? The two are commonly lumped together but one is structured and helpful while the other isn't.

Every third Thursday, but only if it lands on the 24th.

Shit!!! You too???? I recently converted to this school of thought as well. I was getting a little bored with old "29th of every month, but only on the second month of the calendar year" method. Plus something had me convinced that the science just wasn't there to support it. But now with the new E3T24th plan I feel the science is finally here to back what we're doing. I for one have been loving it and the results have been fantastic!!!!!!!!! I started last Tuesday.

    Cheat meals only, not refeeds.

I know you're messing with me but I still looked at my calendar for three months in advance before I confirmed it. Just thought I would give you that satisfaction.

I'm assuming you mean physiologically? Cause both can be psychologically helpful.

I limit cheat meals to when I go out to eat which might be once a week or once a month. One meal (within reason) isn't going to kill a diet and can be psychologically rewarding as well. If you feel that guilty about it, and you're on a cut....just cut out a meal or two earlier in the day to make room in your total cals. You're macros won't line up, but at the end of the day if you're coming in under your TDEE...

I try to structure both cheat meals and refeeds around SUSHI - Only difference between cheat meals and refeeds with sushi is the Tempura.

I don't feel guilty at all, the question wasn't for research purposes. I was just curious. I find it is good for my psyche after a few weeks of restricting calories.

    I do 2 to 3 a week.

Yep, I'll never be a bodybuilder.

But I really really like pizza

Whenever - I try it psyche myself out that I can what I want when I want.

I have been eating straight crap for a week once per day on top of my correct intake. I lost 6 pounds - while lifting 5x a week & doing fasted cardio 5-6x per week.

Currently just running a maintenance dose of test & no other gear.

I'm gonna try to clean my diet a little, once every week or 2 would be ideal

I only have cheat meals 2-3x a day.

I swear if I ever had a real diet plan in place and did some cardio I would easily be 8% body fat. I should be 300 lbs the way I eat most of the time.
