having a cheat day tomorow but kind of feel bad for it now, how bad is one ?

having a cheat day tomorow, been pretty strict last 4 weeks, so tomorow ive had planned a cheat day (refeed) going to eat what i want, starting the day with gainer shake, protein bar & bread & peanut butter so not pizza etc but plan to eat alot of bacon sarnies with brown bread, loads of peanuts, humous, pasta & bags of chrisps, this is to keep me sane and good though the week ! will this set me back much ? my body has come to the point when im craving like mad. so yea cheat day that bad ? still get in 200g good protein but loads of carbs & fats !!!!! then not again for 3-4 weeks till holiday time

260g protein, 150-200g carbs & 40g fats this is on an average day & all from top sources, carbs mainly come from greens or sometimes oats or brown rice and protein is lean cuts beef, chicken breast and egg whites and whey protein and fats come from my meats, and odd whole egg or sprinkle of seeds on my oats if I have them

    Mate,
If you can eat strict 4 weeks in a row and then come off the plan for a single day, that's not too bad.

    Enjoy!

Won't set me back much ? Normally il ain't to be strict and then have like a cheat meal once a week at most but yea I been solid for the last 3/4 weeks so guess one day won't hurt then, enjoyment day it is

You should probably factor in occasional "reload" days. It gives you and your body a break...

...unless prepping for a contest, I'd say go for it.

Is reload basically when you eat whatever you want for a day to shock you body then ?

Nope, it would be a higher carb day. Triple or quadruple your usual intake for a day. If you want a cheat make it a meal, not a day.

Would this be okay and not classed as a cheat day more a refed

    Meal 1:
    200g raw oats
    1 scoop chocolate casein
    40g raisens
    1 table spoon PB
    All mixed with water

    Meal 2.
Bio tech mass gainer shake 140g carbs, 50g protein 0g fat
    Banana

    Meal 3.
3 90% lean mince burgers (home made)
    2 sweet potatoes

    Meal 4.
Biotech mass gainer shake 140g carbs, 50g protein 0g fat
    3 pieces whole grain bread

    Meal 5.(cheat meal)
Homemad spaghetti carbonara with 10 rashes bacon (fat trimmed off) with 150g peanuts, bag potato chips & pot of humous to dip

This doesn't look Like a cheat day right more of a refed ? I have my cheat meal and the rest looks okay would you say ? Reason for the shakes is they taste soo god dam good too and obv I can't have them whilst cutting, normally I only have one or 2 scoops of whey a day.

It's looks like quite a high fat day with the fats in meals 1 & 3 and then your cheat meal but it's the first time in only 4 weeks so roll with it.

I'd also think about finishing your tub of the mass gainer and devise your own version where you get more quality carbs than what will be in that.

Why don't you swap your sweet potatoes and bread around and put your burgers in the bread?

No pudding? Not sure I can trust someone who doesn't like pudding!!!

Haha my bread as real thin so won't hold a burger, would be a plan if only it were thicker ! and yea these gainers are sample sachets I would never buy a gainer now I'd make my own and I'm not a pudding guy ! Just love fatty cheeses, chrisps etc although I wouldn't turn down some Ben & jerries but too late now. Next time ! So would you say overall this day looks pretty good and won't set me back my goals if I eat solid for the next 2 weeks before I allow another cheat meal ?

    CARBS:740g

You'll likely feel bloated all day and that may take a day or 2 disappear and may be cause for water retention so I hope you have your e2 in check. It may also give you more energy in the gym for the next few days.

As for setting back your physique? Only one way to find out. As I said ideally you would keep your fats low and just up your carbs but you're increasing your fats sevenfold.

nothing wrong with a cheat meal/day once in a while, if you get to that point in your life when you feel guilty for having something naughty to eat every 2-3 weeks its time to think to yourself thers far more in life than just the gym, enjoy yourself dont be one of these boring miserable twats who wont have a beer or bit of cake at gatherings because there so vein !! these are the people who lead & live boring lives apart from the one hour they spend in the gym each day, hah of course this isnt for those who make a living out of it then its a different ball game. but if its not your job then live a little once in a while. hope u pigged out
