Please don't laugh, I know this is silly... I've known this girl for about a year now. We're in the same university program and we have all our classes together, so we obviously spend a lot of time together. She's totally my type: reasonably fit, smart, pretty (by my own standards), very down to earth...
I want to ask her out, but I'm scared. Not because I lack the confidence to do so, but because I feel like it's risky. If she says no or it ends up not working out, I feel like I could not only lose her friendship, but the next 3 years would also be extremely awkward and uncomfortable since, like I said, we see each other everyday and it's also a small program with not that many students.
Would you guys risk it?
