    Anyone from Toronto?

I'm currently living in Edmonton, but my company has a position open in Toronto that I'm thinking about applying for. Same job, just moving to another branch.

Anyone able to give me a little insight into what life in Toronto is like?

No guarantee of getting the position, and it would still depend on what's in the offer, especially relocation, but I'm seriously considering applying and hoping for some insight if it'll be worth moving again.

Worked there for a year, have a lot of friends there, but haven't lived there. Like many large cities, it's very diverse, "Toronto is often referred to as 'the most multicultural city in the world.' If it is not, it definitely has the distinction of being one of the most culturally diverse cities. Located in Canada, this city boasts 200 ethnic groups with over 140 languages spoken.".

Many workers live outside the city because of how expensive real estate is and commute into the city via car or GO train... I commuted for a year and would not do it again.

The night life is great, it has everything from European pubs to popular night clubs. Plenty of sporting events, both minor league and pro leagues... plenty of concerts both big and small. It has beaches and lots of parks. More shopping than you need. Lots of public transportation if needed... driving a car in Toronto is not fun.

Moving from Deadmonton to Toronto will be a very big upgrade. Unlike Edmonton people dont sleep at 9pm in Toronto. Do you have family that will move with you? just remember Toronto is the center of Universe.
Just remember you will be going to losing Maple leafs team but given the fact that you are coming from Oilers you should be used to it
