    Martial Law started in CA

The governor has ordered a lockdown. WTF? You go to the Dr and they don’t test you, just tell you to go home for 14 days because they are low risk

So is it total confinement or can you still go for groceries, banking, and medical needs?

    It definitely sucks.

Close to total confinement. You can buy groceries. We do business that is exempt from the order so We can still go to work.

LOL, no Prox. Its just that people who aren't sick or tested positive may need meds or be a caregiver for a relative and there has to be some leeway in their "shelter in place" status".

The state retains the power to enact and enforce this as they deem it to be necessary, but it isn't an absolute one size fits all dictatorship. Citizen do still have some basic rights in these situations.

We went to a 6' "social distancing" at work.

Another 11.5 hour shift. Yawn....think I'll catch a nap on the way home.

wasn't the communist republic of California pretty much in a state of 'martial law' and lock down before Corona even hit ? I mean heck if it takes you 3 hours to drive 5 miles or you can't buy as many guns as you want, thats pretty much lock down imo

It's definitely a benefit unless the guy running the overhead crane is too far away and and you're trying to shoehorn a piece of stock into a machining center.

On the other hand, I get people people sitting 2 tables away asking what I have for lunch. Fvckers know what I have...my lunch.

Only 1 person per table at work although they have 4 chairs per table, so that part is good. Figure they'll lock down the crapper to every other stall soon and you it's inevitable that you end up getting a warm toilet seat....not so good.

Waaay off topic, but......I just picked up a discontinued model Leupold scope for a good price

Leupold VX-R 4-12 x 50mm. Soon as base and rings get here I'll zero and watch out feral hogs and stray humans!!!

Honestly, I'm surprised at the clarity of the Leupold glass. I'm happy.

That is all. You are now returned to your previous thread content.

Edit: I went with the Firedot Duplex reticle. I spent a few minutes with a Swarovski and maybe it's my old eyes, but I couldn't justify the extra $$ for the Swarovski.

LMFAO- you know Cali very well!
Actually, my trip has halved in time because there is little traffic.
Now, with my luck, I will get a speeding ticket.
Cops will probably get bored and look to pull people over. I blew by a cop going 85 two weeks ago and nothing. Now, I am sure they would.

...and COVID-19 disrupts SC a little. After Tuesday, work will probably grind to a halt for a week and a half or so.
I'm looking at as an opportunity. My orthopedist appointment is the 30th and I need to get imaging done. Hopefully, that won't get deferred by this mess. Lots of stuff to do on the yard and ........*insert drum roll"....I can work legs and squats. Back and chest to a lesser degree.

If the orthopedist doesn't see the need for surgery ( which I'm hoping for) I'll have time to deal with any injections. We've got a pantry, so I'm going to make the best of the situation.

Now, what I NEED from all you guys and gals is please stay healthy!!!

Man, I am definitely impressed. I know comparing a 32mm or 40mm objective to a 50mm isn't comparing apples to apples, but the clarity is ridiculously good. The Firedot reticle really pulls the eye to.

Truthfully, it liooks like everyone have the government the big finger. I went out today and it looked like business as usual with the people out and about. Store shelves still empty of toilet paper, pasta, canned foods and soups. Roads were not too busy but traveled.
