For me 29ga works for delts, bi and tri.
And 25ga for quads. 29ga went subcutaneous in the quad, it really depends on your body fat distribution.
When I started first I used 23ga for quads, it's really anxiety-inducing, mid-cycle I was inserting only half of the needle and shaking at that. I'm using the remaining syringes with 23ga pins to backfill the slin pins.
I'd stick with smaller doses (max 1ml) if you don't shoot them deep into the muscle. Just my anecdotal .02 cents
