    Jatenzo & Bloodwork

Has anyone here been RX’d Jatenzo for TRT?

I just started taking it at 237mg 2x daily in place of the weekly injections (200mg per week) I’d been doing for the last decade or so.

What I’m most curious in is the bloodwork at a specific dose. Has anyone done bloods to see what their ng/dL total testosterone serum level is after like 4+ weeks on this stuff?

Just not sure if it would calculate the same due to it being lipophilic vs IM.

If there is already a topic on this that I’ve overlooked, a link would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I think you are the first person I've read about using Jatenzo, JD.

I hope you get some feedback, I am interested in seeing how the T levels look and also what the lipids and liver enzyme values are.

It's not the same at all. Hence why your doses are so much higher.

And it definitely doesn’t feel the same either.

I’m gonna need a higher dose or I’m gonna jump back on injections. I’ll ride this dose out for a month and do bloods to see how low I am.

Absolutely. It’s been two weeks on Jatenzo and 2 weeks since my last injection of test cyp at my TRT dose (200mg per week). I am starting to feel the effects of crashing test levels. I’m getting bloods done Monday and should have results by Thursday. I fully intend on having my dosage adjusted up to 316mg twice daily...currently at 237mg twice daily.

Getting bloods tomorrow. The Jatenzo dosing documentation says to have blood drawn 6 hours after you ingest your last dose. I’ll post bloods once I receive them - usually takes a few days after blood draw.

Jatenzo (oral test) bloodwork at 2 weeks.

Sorry I took so long to get back on and post these results. I’ve been battling back and forth with my doctor and have decided to go back on weekly injections.

My levels were extremely low and I felt it both mentally and physically. I tried explaining how I felt and communicated that I want to move to a higher dose to which I was told that Jatenzo can take 6-8 weeks before it starts “working” and reach optimal levels in the blood. I disagreed due to its short half life - Jatenzo themselves state to have blood drawn 6 hours after last ingestion.

Total test levels (2 weeks off injections and 2 weeks soley on Jatenzo) were 376ng/dL

    I’ll try posting a screenshot.

I was asked if I wanted to try Jatenzo and was given information about it. Are you still on it? I am fine with the shots but didn't know if anyone else had used it or been offered it. I am not the best with BID meds (twice daily) so I was a hard pass.
