Cranberry juice is probably my favorite but orange juice with a splash of vodka isn’t bad either

I stay away from juices and pops . The only difference is pop has high fructose corn syrup and juices have sugar alcohol.

They should have chose the juice on the left, no red coloring with bananas.

Hawk, the first guy was an alcoholic. I think he might have died from complications of alcohol. So the red face wasn't the beet juice he was on most likely.

Shit. Thought I was going to be clever and name my favorite “juice”. Should’ve known better with this witty group

The better question is “what weren’t these guys taking”? Guaranteed a gram of test alongside probably Deca/Tren/Dbol/winny/primo/Var/halo/

    Did I miss one?

    Lol. Yeah.
He died of heart attack at age 46, probably from anabolic steroid abuse combined with other things like alcohol as you mentioned. Roids really deteriorate the cardiovascular system unfortunately we’re all gonna die

Both of those guys were hardcore alcoholics and drug addicts. They'd pop 50-100 vicodins per day along with muscle relaxers, cocaine and a shitload of booze. When I heard how much drugs those guys were on (never mind the gear), I was like "holy shit! How can they possibly live taking that?"

And it turns out, they can't.

I took more than tripe that on vics during chemo (extra strength too) in a month (12 a day - it’s the max with the amount of acetaminophen) and my liver and kidney values were fine. Same as some old lady in Mississippi that smokes 2 packs a day and is 90, no problem. We’re all different.

That aside, those dudes rode hard and paid the price. The liquor amplifies everything else by 10 when it comes to the body. Wouldn’t be surprised if they smoked cigarettes too

He’s got it backwards. Increased testosterone actually improved lung function in both sexes and there was a separate study that looked at helping men who had COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder) by using low dose testosterone (TRT). They’re from 2018/19 I think. Google would find them.

    You were close, just wrong

Thank you for clearing that up big man I believe the benefits of trt outweight the risks in my personal opinion

Hawk was not only an alcoholic, but an avid cocaine abuser. Big partier. There are videos of him doing lines backstage at WWE. He burnt the candle at both ends, as they say.

Davey Boy Smith was also a poly drug abuser. Alcohol, cocaine, pain pills, etc. He suffered a spine injury that lead to a staff infection that they say lead to his pain killer addiction, but he was on shit long before then.

This is the same story with unfortunately many pro wrestlers in the 90s. Mr. Perfect, Ric Rude, Brian Pillman, Kerry Von Erich (Texas Tornado), and many more.

100% for me too. The lung function stuff isn’t even a risk, it’s potentially an advantage. Everything in medicine is risk/reward…but ya, the benefits far outweigh the risks for me too.

How many decades have woman been on hormones? It’s not until recently (last 5-10 years) that hormone replacement for men has been seen as medically relevant, necessary really. There’s still some leftover taboo nonsense for some reason

We have a responsibility on this board that when we parrot shit, we’re squawking about the right things

Yeah, those wrestlers abused so much rec drugs, pain killers and alcohol, that using them as the sole basis of why you shouldn't use gear is ridiculous. Nobody could handle that lifestyle. But I believe Kerry Von Erich committed suicide.

He sure did...and I believe most of his other brothers did the same thing. That was a cursed family for some reason.

Yes, he did commit suicide. But he was a heavy drug user that used to go to his shows messed up, falling over, mumbling his words. He was set to serve time and was going to lose his wrestling contract, which lead to his suicide.
