    Hemochromatosis

Apparently I have a blood problem I'm on trt 200 milligrams every other week and my red blood cells are shooting through the roof my testosterone levels about five something and I want to do another cycle but this seems to be a problem with my hemoglobin being too high any suggestions? Does my trt need to come down can I do another cycle?

    Punctuation helps.

I think you are saying you are on 200mg once every two weeks. That's horrible if that is the case. Switch to 50mg 2x per week. That gives you the same effective dose over the same two weeks, but avoids the radical peaks and valleys you are experiencing now.

There are two ways to control blood numbers like RBC and hemo. Hydrate and donate. Hydrate like you are in the desert.... Think a gallon a day or more. Also, donating a pint of whole blood, assuming you don't have a medical reason not to, will keep your numbers in line AND possibly help save someone's life.

The Red Cross and the Blood Connection both accept donations from people with hemochromatosis.

At one time, the Blood Connection would perform therapeutic phlebotomies for free if you had an order from your Dr. I think they still do if your in their service area.

    https://thebloodconnection.org/about...al-phlebotomy/

Edit: If you're not in an area that the Blood Connection services, I would still call around on your area and see if the local blood banks offer that service.

Also, I have no idea how I managed to put a thumbs down in my previous post, so I deleted my original post.

I would follow Cy's advice and I really wouldn't worry about cycling until after you got your iron levels corrected.

Just so I'm understanding your post correctly, did you Dr. order testing to diagnose your hemochromatosis or do you think that's the issue because of your Hgb and Hct levels?

No problem man, that why most of us are here....to help people.

I've been in kind of the same boat as you. I have clotting disorder (Leiden Factor V). My cardiologist referred me to an oncologist and they drew a LOT of blood.

Yeah, stick with a TRT dosage and frequency like Cy posted. Don't discount the growth that is possible on a suitable TRT protocol.

Good luck and keep us up to date on how you're progressing!
