    For all you Texanites

    I can't believe it, just when I thought my career has hit an all-time-low by being sent to Temple, TX (quite possibly the Armpit of Texas) for a few months, it turns out there is a really cool gym right down the road! Kinda expensive (I am used to the free ones on Military Bases), but is pretty kick ass. So, Temple, TX has redeemed itself. I thought it was going to be the crappiest experience of my civilian life, but it's not bad.

    How many of you have found gyms where you never thought possible? Just wondering.....

    Just wait bro, once you are in the corps they have some sweeeeet gyms. To top it off, people are there to get work done, not sit around and BS. There is a lot of "air lat" syndrome tho. The Marines love their troops to have the huge upper body "bulldog" look...

    Well you could be out doing a Navy Man's jobs on WESTPAC or a MED cruise! I'd rather be in TX any day..I'd count my blessings!

    Yeah, did my time on the pond, and in the mud. Glad I am done with that BS! Wouldn't give those years up for anything, but I had my fill!

    Well, I went to this gym for the first time tonight... was pretty cool. The cardio room was a trip, the only lights are black lights, so it was really strange to go do my hamster workout in the dark, but yet it's not, but it was.... my brain can't handle it!

    This gym is huge, they are slowly taking over the mall it's in, they have everything I could ever need... pretty sweet.

    But I still miss San Diego...

    Definately...after 2 WESTPACs and a MED...I have had enough of those grey things! I too, would not trade those days for anything!
