my husband (24 years old, 196lbs, 5'10) used steroids a couple years before we met. i was never around him while he did them. he has gained so much weight (maybe 20 lbs. i fed him well) and has lost almost all his muscle since then. he still has pretty big arms and a very broad chest. he is really bothered by letting his body go and has lost much self-esteem. i hate seeing him so down on himself and it has been an issue in our relationship. but he is a family man now with a wife, two kids and a full time job. he doesn't have the time to get results naturally. he has been interested in getting a little help and we have talked about it now for at least a year. i won't allow him to do anything until i got some info about it. well, not that i won't "allow" him, but i want to be able to give my partner support in anything he chooses to do. i want to know what is the safest/effective cycle he should start. i also want to know side effects (what to do to maybe prevent or lessen the side effects), how long he will be affected by anything at all post cycle, about any mood swings (i heard people can get violent), about any sexual side effects, what i should expect from this all, how much money are we going to have to spend...ect... i know nothing about steroids really except for small talk at parties with his friends or from past boyfriends who had done them. please help me. what should the woman know about the steroids her man is about to use? thanks and sorry for typing so much.
