    Freezing Needles

Hey, I read study that said if you freeze a needle prior to injection, there's less pain. Have any of you tried this/ heard about this? It sounds like it would hurt more. Also, I should add the study was not done with intra-muscular injections but sub-cutaneous diabetes insulin injections, which obviously areless painfull to start with.

Unless I hit a nerve injections are pretty much painless anyway, so I wouldn't bother.

never heard of that but too much trouble, the pain goes away right after you take it out, it is the substances that leave a longer lasting pain

    Cool

Cool, guess I was just curios cause at the middle of my cycle I'll be doin 2 injections a week to spread it out, so I wondered if there was anything to dull the pain. But yea I guess the substance is more a concern than the injection itself as far as pain goes.

Metal contracts when its cold so I guess the guage size in theory might become smaller when pins are frozen. I like to do the opposite in a way by have a nice hot shower before I shoot concentrating the hot water on the muscle I am about to shoot.

If you want to lessen the pain bro do what doctors will do. Put a super ice cold pack on wherever the inject site is and hold it there for like 15 minutes, until you are numb, keep the needle at room temp and just stick it in. The cold will dull the nerves and make any blood that was there go deeper into the body. After about 20 minutes once the inject is over, your blood will rush back there and the nerves will go back to normal. You cant feel **** when you freeze the inject site.

2 injects/week is nothing. I have to do 4 on some days and 2 or 3 on all other days. It takes a good 25 minutes/day to take care of business.
