    Actrapid

    Hi there!

Because i didn´t know much about insulin,I bought actrapid instead of
    Humalog.
What if I inject into the muscle, would this also effect
the duration of it,or will it be active the same time, with
    a more rapid onset?

Yeah, I'd always recommend Humalog over any other longer acting insulin. Not only does it stay active for the least amount of time, but it's the most potent on an activity/minute basis.
This link gives you an idea of the duration of activity. Actrapid is similar to Humalin R.

Injecting it IM will speed up its onset but only slightly.

I am using Actrapid myself but will be switching to Humalog asap. The only the thing I considered was if using a slin split, I thought of using the Actrapid first thing then the humalog as my second shot 7-8 hours later
