Ahhh, now the second coolest car in movies (though not the nicest!)

    1974 Dogge Monaco Sedan

    AKA

The BluesMobile! The old beat up POS ex cop car driven by Elwood and Jake Blues in the Blues Brothers.

You have to admit it's a cool car (hey it's even got an 8-track player) and a hilarious car chase. At the time, they broke the record for wrecking the most cars filming that chase (13 Bluesmobiles and 60 "cop cars").

I like Relic's jetboat...but it was beatup too. The Persephone was too slow. Oh wait...we're still talking about cars.

Meet you at "The Reach" for coffee.

Haha...how many Americans will I stump with this pop culture?

KITT and the General Lee definitely come to mind. Also would have added the DeLorean from Back to the Future, as a car personality at least.

Edit: Too early in the morning and no caffeine. Didn't realize the DeLorean was already lurking in the list, heh.

I wonder if they could get Cheech Marin as KITT's voice?

Oh, BTW here is a link to the Bullit chase (quicktime, 14mb)

    http://www.javelinamx.com/carstars/bullitt.mov

Lets not forget the "Ferrari" from Ferris Buellers day off
Which btw is not a Ferrari but a kit car with a 5L ford V8

And of course, Frankensteins modded 'Vette in Death Race 2000!

Heh, yeah it was a rough morning. All cylinders weren't firing. Still, the General Lee is cool enough to deserve the extra mention.
