    DSL instllation fee

Does anyone know how much it usually cost for a tech to come to your house and install a wireless DSL connection? I ask because someone my mom knows wants me to do it and obviously I'm no going to do so for free.
I'm thinking it would normally cost $100 so if I did it for $50 would that be a fair price to charge?
    Any ideas?

I don't know what they charge but since this person doesn't know how to do it anyway then I would say $50 is fair........... Think about it the tech that comes out get's a salary, so the company needs to make that back + extra for the install so they make money too.

    Wireless DSL?
DSL setups are non existent right now, you just get the filters and you are on your way. Unless you have more then like 6 phone jacks, then a tech has to come out and put a filter on the entire line.

I am guessing though you are talking about just making a wireless network work?
Somewhere around $100 sounds about right.

Charge $100.....if everything goes super smooth and you're done quickly then cut them a break on the price. Always price for a snafu. Besides, by the time you drive there dick around and whatnot it will likely take longer than you think.

    Thanks guys,
He has 3 phone lines in his house so I'm guessing it'll take about an hr total.
    $50 seems fair.
