Yup.. people are dumb. I was doing lunges.. across the floor. Some jerk moves a bench in the way right across my path... i was like "MOVE!!!" in between gasps... hehe 315 on lunges gets heavy.

Good thing the gym has liabilty insurance. Some have a clause in the contract saying they are not resposible for any injury. I am sure he learnt a hard lesson. NEVER go near or talk to someone who is deading/squating/benching escpecially at those poundages. I hope when you see him again you would say hey man I'm sorry for what happen but you need to be carefull around squatters. But my guess is he won't be around for some time if ever again.

WTF was the asshole thinking running into the bar when you were squating?

The dude had it coming diesel. I've had a guy at my gym jump on the power rack and start doing pull-ups while I was doing a set of squats. Doing the cheat pull-ups where you kick your knees up to complete every rep. Needless to say it didn't go over to well with me after he 'accidentily' kicked me in the back a few times. I wish I could have through a bar full of weights on his foot to teach him a lesson.

Stupid question-isn't the power rack supposed to catch the weight when it falls? I apologize if I'm missing something obvious here.

Man, I wonder why some one would even come that close that they could bump shoulders with whatever exercise you're doing...
You know what pisses me off??? I'll be doing dumbell fly's, and some one will come on the side of me while I'm in the positive position, I know I will hit them when I go back down to the negative, but hey if they are too stupid to notice, whos cares?? I've let the dumbell hit numerous people at my gym, can't believe they don't even consider what exercise you're doing... pisses me off...
