I've never had a dog this bad before, thinking about getting rid of him

Try crate traing the dog it worked for me!!! but dont use the crate as a form of punishment put some toys in there then feed him there then lock him up for 20min there then u escort him to the spot u want him to releve himself should work after a couple of trys good luck buddy and nice dog

He's teething at that age and some dogs can't take the pain as well.

My dog was the same way but when she reached about 1 and half years old she calmed down .

She chewed everything in sight and ate up the carpet(1/ 3 of it) and nipped at us all the time. Baby dog teeth are very sharp .

Give her some time. Too many abandoned animals out there.

I hate that it has almost come to this, but this puppy I got about 8 weeks ago is terrible. He is 2/3 Siberian Husky, 1/3 wolf. I just cannot seem to get him housebroken for one, and second off he bites, ALOT. I dont know if he thinks he's playing or what, but you cant even pet him or touch him without him reaching his head around and biting. I spank him when he goes to the bathroom in the house and it doesnt phase him, he thinks I'm playing or something. I put hot sauce on my fingers to get him to stop biting, and he likes hot sauce! I tried putting pennies in a glass jar and shaking the hell out of it when he's doing something bad, doesnt work, he ignores it. I have a 5 year old stepdaughter who cant play with him because he constantly bites. He reached up and bit me in the lip the other day and busted my lip open. He is the worst dog I've ever seen or had. But I know he loves us, because when I go away for a few days and come home he's wagging his tail and jumping on me, so happy to see me. I just think he plays rough or something. I'm thinking about obedience school for him, but I dont know if it would work or not. He's just the prettiest dog, and I'd hate to get rid of him but it has about come down to it. Any suggestions?

yeah, he has gotten the carpet in a couple places, nothing major, but pisses me off because we live in an apartment right now. I dont want to have to buy them a new carpet, maybe I can find a color that matches and glue a little piece down to match it.

i like that teething makes it more playful...sometimes a bit too much tho i guess

Here she is now..she will be 14 August 1st!!!

The first year and half was brutal but
with some training (Trained her myself) and understanding of her teething she turned
out to be my best friend!!



At first I took her to a trainer and he gave up .
He said all the other dogs were afraid of her .
Her scent set them all off . He said
she is a Alpha female and some dogs
just can't be trained!!!

Well now she can hardly hear and is blind
in one eye and only has about %50 left
in the other eye. Her legs are starting to go also.

I LOVE HER and know she only has less then
a year left by the way things are going.
She still plays and has all her scruples.

She'll let me know when it's her time..
It breaks my heart just thinking of it.

They sell carpet in 12 inches by 12 inches and you cane do the whole room with them.

Before my friend bought her dog (New apt) she bought the 12x 12's carpet pieces just incase the dog chewed it up.Well she did chew it up ( LOL ) but all she had to do was replace it with a another 12x 12.
