I'd take an LCD tv over a plasma, unless you plan on selling the palsma within 3 years, they tend to burn in their pixels and the colors fade after 3-5years. Not like tube tv's or lcd's

yeah don't get a plasma, they have a shelf life I think max is 7 years. go lcd/hi def

I just got a 60" lcd projection...great picture quality for a large size screen...high def is high def...like symatech said, the life of a plasma is from 5-8 years..something with the gases causes it....
if you do go plasma, I would look at pioneer products, from what I have read, they seem to perform the best..
be weary of "cheaper" plasmas, I know some models they offer have really shitty resolution..even though its a "plasma"

I own a 42" Sony plasma for 3years and it still looks like I just bought it. Going to buy 71" LG plasma from Japan soon thats how you get them cheap. Because companys here will just throw on some plastic and add 1k.
