Go with the Acura TL. I got a 2000 3.2TL, for the $$ you cannot beat an Acura, the handling and performance is amazing!!!

    I've got an srt-4 and a 2004 Lightning.

    I'd advise a 2005 SRT-4 ACR over a sti or evo or some acura/honda.

i'd go with the evo, but then again where i live i've only seen about 3 evo's and about 5 sti's. not sure why. probably because there are no close dealers of either.

I would either a evo or a sti because they are like bang for your buck performance. Both can do 0-60 under 5seconds. If you put $3000 into either car they will beat everything from feirrias, vipers, lamborginis, and corvettes except the new ZO6 of course.

After tax the 04 tl would run me 27165 and it only had 1500 miles on it the last time i saw it. Its a sick car for the money but I like the evo. Around me i see more stis than anything else. I dont really like the srt4 neon is a girly car to me.

The evo sucks on gas mileage. If you like filling your tank and only going about 250 miles by all means get the evo.

i'm getting rid of my 04 gmc 1500 in march and getting a 04 lexus gs-430. we'll see what a header, exhaust, intake and a 120 shot of nos can do to the lex. i'll probably surprise the hell out of some muscle cars.

im sorry but there is no way in hell $3,000 invested into one of those cars will beat a viper or lamborghini.......I have a Cobra and beat Evo's and STIs all the time, and got my $hit pushed in by a lambo and a viper. Those cars are quick yes, but not nearly as fast as they are made out to be. And FYI the EVO has much more aftermarket potential.

The evo does have a huge aftermarket potential. But as I said, it eats gas. Plus the maintenance schedule is horrible. But they are a fun car to drive.

I have not seen a evo beat a lambo but I have seen a evo beat a stock 2002 dodge viper. Evo was making 390HP.

Id say the TL is just a cleaner looking car... but to each his own... if the acura is black, slap some 5% tint around it and your swanging clean and savin some on the gas...

my point is an evo cant get to that level with $3k. it was probably a low end viper and probably beat it off the line. Vipres make over 500hp, off the line is the evos only chance

Honestly I think it depends what kind of car you are looking for. The STI and TL are very different..

I love the TL, I was going to sell my car and get one until I realized I only have about 13 payments left on my car and I'm looking forward to no car payment

If you are looking for a car to play with I'd get the STI. If you are looking for something a little more classy and suble, go with the TL.. I'm tird of getting pulled over, I want a car that blends which is why I like the TL. It's moves too!

BigGuns - Toyotas go forever.. I had a 1991 Camry with 225k when I sold it, still going strong... I had it as my beater car and I should have kept it to keep the miles lower on this car... I love imports if you can't tell
