IMO, VT should be ahead of Texas purely based on strength of schedule. Otherwise doesn't really matter to me.

Seriously, by the end of the season VT will have played a MUCH harder schedule than Texas.

Im not seeing it. Only hard team they gotta play is Miami this week. If you're going to talk about strength of schedule lets look at USC and bump TX in front of them

The BCS stuff pisses me off to no end.

However, I continually amazed at how little credit the BCS ratings give to the SEC and also the ACC.

Ok lets see....the SEC:

Alabama
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
LSU
Auburn
South Carolina

I personally think all of these teams are better than the second best team in the Big 12.

Ok, ACC:

FSU
VT
Miami
BC

It happened last year, Auburn was clearly the second best team in the country. CLEARLY! However, Oklahoma got to play for the National Championship.

The BCS sucks.

I hate the BCS. I think BAMA could very well run the table and be in the same boat as Auburn last year. Ouside looking in! But its hard to argue that UT and USC are not the top 2 in the country. Playoff would solve this. Roll Tide!

I have to disagree. They have not looked like the same team since they beat Florida. I honestly believe they could have beat any team in the country that day, but since then they have looked alittle shaky. I think LSU takes them out and takes the SEC West.

You may have a point there..but most likely that won't happen. I mean..they may not be THE best team..but I think they are for sure should drop to #2 if they lose..but doubtful they will.

I'm seriously concerned about the Florida/South Carolina game. SC coming of a huge upset of Tennessee in Knoxville and the Gators are VERY beat up right now. 7 starters injured in their game this past weekend.

I'm with ya, The Geat Ball Coach is coming back to town, it might not be his "team" but its still is town. For the Gators I think you guys will take it to him just for that reason and on paper you look alot better
