Damn bro, sweet ride! I'm not big into imports, but yours looks good just don't put all them stupid stickers all over your car. It must be wierd to go from a truck to the celica. Enjoy your new toy and drive safe.

that Acura RX type S is phat, I was looking at one, in reality to hook it up like the one pictured is, it has to run around 26 at the least!! But it's still a way bad ass car!
In the road tests (RX-S, Eclipse and Celica) Celica performed the best in braking, speed lane changegs, and handling. from 0-60 is decent but top end is where the Celica lacks, once your past 4th gear it's pretty much cruise not speed.
I love that acura, but I had to have my celica

The first one. Looking closer, I guess it's a Ford Zephyr Zodiac with what looks like an Alfa grille tacked on in the middle.

The picture was taken about 20 years ago, maybe even more.

Thats a cool car if thats what your into....I'm more a fan of American muscle than ricers and imports. Give me a WS6 Ram Air TA or Mustang Cobra anyday! I'm not down with all this ricer bullshit cause the majority of them are all show and no go! These punks today think they can slap on a fart pipe and some stickers and they got a race car I'm all about bang for the buck and there's none better than those LS1 Z28's and Trans Ams - 315 HP STOCK! With basic bolt-on mods for under 1K you have a low 12 second and sometimes 11 second monster.....heaven forbid you add a supercharger or turbo on one of those cars

Yeah the WRX is nice but 24K is for stock which = shit. If you want it like what's in that pic up there you might want to tack on another 5K at least! I have to agree with DrJ, I have a Z28 and it blows rice rockets right off the road. Just wait till I get my new engine, then I'll be going 9's for sure in a daily driver!!

now need good tires and couple of other things before the it's ready for the track blowing around 25 lbs
but even at 12 lbs and skinny ass tires some cobra ,z28 and a type r drivers got smoked
and talking about bang for a buck this is under $10 000 setup still getting 20 mpg in city

hehehehehehhe don't wanna start the eternal argument domestic V.S. imports but just for records $800 CRX HF + $6000 B20 v-tech engine with crank ,rod ,pistons and polished head and turbo just tuned it up and at 12 lbs of boost spits 372 ponies and 266 lbs torque...

Well I'm not going to get into one either cause it's pointless....Everyone is entitled to their opinions on what kinds of cars they drive. With all you wrote plus the cost of the car - your over 30K...Why not buy a Vette then? You invest 7K in a Z28 or Cobra and you have a screamer that runs 10's in the 1/4 and will smoke 99% of any car you'll see! Bottom line is, you like your ricer imports and I like American muscle cars - you gotta run what ya brung!

I like all cars, big fan of American muscle and just recently a fan of rice rockets. I guess it just took seeing for believing but I've seen one too many Civics smoke vipers and still get 20+ mpg...you gotta respect that out of a 4 cylinder.
That being said if money was no option I would go for a Vette. Now with money being an issue I'd go for an older civic, drop a Frankenstein engine with a Turbo and I'm running with Z28 and still getting better gas mileage. My truck gets about 11mpg so I’m a huge fan of 4 cylinder gas mileage. J
I don’t think it is cost effective to by a new import and try to get it to the 300+hp mark..just buy American.
