Over here you need to be over 20 and have no convictions or drug problems (there is a test). But they do not test for gear

Currently doing Security before I apply to Police. It costs $30 for your security license... and the company you're working for should be able to take care of the details... if not, I question what company you're working for and you'll need to contact the Onario ministry of public safety and security. I believe you have to be 18 at least with no criminal record.

Try doing a search on the government of canada's website.

If you werent convicted your cool. Just cause you are charged doesnt mean you did anything wrong. You obviousely proved your innocense if you were not convicted.

Check with the OPP, security work is of provincial jurisdiction. In this province you get your security guard license from the QPP.

i was charged a while back
anyways i went to the station they questioned me then they released me. they gave me papers for court, so i went and the staff people at court told me that they didnt get no papers from the arresting officer.
this was about one year ago, then shortly after i was charged again with something else (wrong place at the wrong time). this time my papers went through but when they read my folder my previous charge was mentioned.

is this charge still on file as pending??
there was no papers at the court, my name wasnt listed no where the day of my court apperance

i guess i'm asking what would show up when they send my name through the system?

    i have never been convicted

any lawyers on this board that can answer this
or anyone with knowledge about law
