    Messed up hamstring for sale... Needs repairs

    Well guys, old age is catching up on this ol' fool. Lately its been one injury after another. The past few months its been a ruptured ear drum (and surgery) a broken nose and then to cap it all off I'm preparing for a fight in April, so tonight I'm in for a hard sparring session, first round going well then SNAP. My left hamstring EXPLODED. A hospital visit, crutches, pain killers, a trip to the off licence for a bottle of wine and I'm sitting here crying into my bottle pondering tonights events. I'm just going to drop the pain killers, drink the wine, take a sleeping tablet and if I catch you guys again tonight please excuse my behaviour.
    Oh, and I'm 38 on Tuesday, March 9th

    sorry to hear this, hamstring injuries suck ass. Did you completly tear it and did you tear the muscle or the tendon???? I tore mine pretty bad over a year ago. It was in the muscle and not torn completly so after about a month of rehab i was good to go. If yours is a muscle tear it shouldnt be too bad. For me the worst part was the stiffness. Having your leg stuck in a semi bent postion is no fun. I actually kinda liked the giant bruise on the backof my leg and how it somehow stayed for months.

    anyways good luck getting better and have fun with the pain pills

    I'm more disturbed that my birthday is so close to you guys...it's on the 7th....at least I'm not as old as you 2 old farts!!!

    bouncer...hope the hammie gets to feeling better...mine use to hurt me ALL the time...I never tore it like you did...just always felt "strained" and weak...I finally listened to someone that knew more than me and took it easy on it for a few months and then built it back up SLOWLY this time....made lots of difference now....that may be what you have to do bro...slowly get it back up after it heals...instead of pushing it real hard as soon as it gets tolerable to hit legs again....

    Good luck with it...obviously your fight won't happen?

    Mass your a ba$tard..... Well an update. I had x-rays done today but apparenly there's too much blood in the muscle to tell the extent of the injury so Monday I see a surgeon and go for an ultra-sound scan. I've on a sh*t load of meds, and boy 'o boy the pain here is unreal. But hey, I can almost do dips on my crutches now
