cool toy i made this winter!!!
since ive got so much spare time in the winter period, i have to found something to do with my hands...
its powered by a small 50cc engine and make almost 2HP lol. i almost push it to the 30mph limit yesterday!! anyway it was really fun to make... and to ride!!! i can do some wheelie and stuff, its not too heavy, about 60lbs. but now it need a good pain job and a new board cause the one in the pic was only for testing purpose and it some cheap ass aspenite presswood
anyway heres the pic:

you need to get rid of the chip board ply wood platform... throw on a steel or aalunminum plate.then give it a coat of fire engine red paint.. then your set...
nice work tho

I'd go for nice shiny aluminum checkerplate for the board. Good footgrip and it looks way cool. The rest I'd paint fire engine red with metal flake in it.
Also use chicken wire and make an engine cover, then put a thin layer of fiberglass on that. Same paintjob as rest of scooter
Whats the engine from btw? 50cc from a chainsaw or a big string trimmer? Love the disc brakes and the evil downgearing of the engine. What ratio are you using?
Red

its powered by a TC300 from tecumseh, they use this engine in ice&earth auger. plenty of power to make long wheelie . the ration from the engine to the wheel is 8:1. i ve got another sprocket that put the ratio at 9:1, which give a surprising acceleration.
for the disk brake i took a Shimano Deore hydraulic brake. the disk is too big so it make the braking a lil bit dangerous but its no big deal..

upgrade to a snowmobile engine.. even a smaller single cylinder one.. and use the clutch from it.. centrifugal clutch!

How about a chain guard for those still days when you come to a stop and your super hero cloak get's wound-up in the gear and breaks your neck. I biker once lost his thumb to a grear and chain. Probably would have sewed it back on, but a yard dog wolfed it down like a table scap...
