Cycle & Alcohol
I'm a newbie here, but have been reading posted threads for 8 months. I have followed much of the advice and wisdom you veterans so generously handout.... you can't imagine how much I appreciate the information you share.
So, I finally have a question of my own. What is over all opinion of consuming alcohol while in the midst of a cycle? Other than it inducing catabolism to the muscle, is it dangerous in any way? I welcome your responses.

besides lowering your test levels.... i would think that would be enough to stop ya from drinking

just quit drinking while your on dude. specially while on 17aas. imo choose one or the other, dont do both. you wouldnt be wasting your time, but you wouldnt get even close to the amount of gains you would get if you quit drinking all together.

17aas are really hard on your liver and as you know so is alcohol, so you're just doing more damage than you need to be so i'd steer clear of it while on or keep it to a minimum

Many guys on cycles do drink a few when theyre out with friends, some don notice any major negative sides, but you never want to be the first to get a liver problem or anything else, so even if its not that harmful ...think of it as a dicipline thing, bodybuilding is about caring about your health more than the average joe, so staying away from drugs an alcohol should b part of your dicipline training, it feels rewarding just knowing you put the extra effort.

Everyone allready said it. I might add drinking can have some influence on increase of estrogens. It can Inhibit the p450 system & lower zinc levels. Zinc is used to help minimize aromatase of test to estro. That alone is reason enough for me not to drink, but then again I not a drinker so I'm biased a wee bit. lol
