how many reps do u like?
I generally like to keep it between 8-12. Anything 6 and below doesnt seem to do much for me....
What about you guys?

Sometimes you have to lift heavy which means shocking your muscle with weights that you can onl;y do a few reps with, there is no set rule to the amount rep you do a set, by the way this really isnt it the right area of the forum

I keep all of mine in the 6-8 rep range. From what I've read this is the ideal range for building muscle. 10-12 is better for conditioning and cutting up. 4-6 is ideal for building strength.
I'll work out with a weight I can get 6 times but not 8. If I get more than 8 I go up; If I get less than 6 I go down. also try to increase the weight by at least 2-5% per workout.

I like to change it up as much as possible unless im cutting... then i just do all reps 12-15

exactly, mixing it up is the key, change it up if you always do the same your body will get to used to it
