Think Im tearing my pec......
I pretty sure my right pec is torn. About a month ago i felt something tear, very minor but defly felt something. I can now also see odd muscle formation in my pec when i flex.... Yesterday, i was having a chest day, nothing heavy, (235) and i felt another tear. I put heat on it last night (pretty painful)
My question is.... i am running a var only cyc right now, and dont want to jeopardize anything. What should i do? I cant just stop my chest routine. I have a doc appt friday!
AHHH i fcking hate this! i felt so strong yesterday! (235 for 20)

Rest it up, if you could maybe get a light massage, don't stretch it, you might tear it more. Heat, ice, and some stim would be good. But def. go to the doc, keep us posted bro, and get better..

I tore a pec before and you definitley get bruising.... and a lot of it. There is no space for the blood to go from a pec tear but to collect up under the subdermal skin layers. it just needs to be rested... rotate heat and ice to help speed healing...

at this moment i'm recovering from a torn pec major, when it happened i def knew what was wrong cause it was like someone broke a piece of wood.
my advice is to make a mri scan as soon as possible cause they let me walk to long before they finally are willing to make one, this has caused that surgery toke place 15 days after it happened.
good luck with it.

I've done the same thing as you did bro, i felt a rupture in my pec benching 275, rested it for 6 weeks, and then did some light work on it, still was slightly painfull.
The pec looks slighty different then the other one, like it has a deeper cut in it.
It will heal bro, give it time..

I'm currently recovering from a minor pec tear. I went to sports injury therapist, he did his thing. Told me to do cold compress for 20min then repeat every hour.I took two wks off with lots of glutamine. Its been 2mon I'm about 80percent now. You should heal pretty good. If there is bruesing I would get a mri. Since your only two wks in I would cut my loses and start a low pct. Hope u heal as fast as I am.
Keep us posted

after seeing 2 doctors the third one finally was known with these kind of injurys and agreed on an mri scan.it was a complete rupture of the pec major.

Well i went to get an mri and actually the ended up getting one on my shoulder. I had shoulder pain as well. Found out that there is a tear in chest that theres nothing i can do about excapt lay low and that i have a tear... supraspinatus tendinitis with subtle partial thickness bursal-sided tear, and mild subdeltoid bursitis. mild inflammatory changes noted at the acromioclavicular articulation.
