(PICS) My var + IGF1Lr3 PROGRESS
I posted this before so some might have seen it...some changes that I made was the time for being on var. Im in my 4th weeks and plan to take the next 4 weeks off then will be back on 4 more weeks. The 2nd 4th week time of being on var will take me up to the day of my football combine. Same as the IGF1Lr3 except i'll be off for two weeks then back on for 6 weeks to the day of my combine. So the var will be 60mg's a day and IGF will be 4 days a week but only post workout(M,T,TH,F) at 60mcg's a time.
I have some progress pics posted and this is from 4 weeks of var and 6 weeks of IGF1LR3. The first pic was at 232lbs the 2nd pic was at 240lbs.
Here is what I'm runnin up to my football combine in may.
IGF1-Lr3 and Var
Monday: 6am plyo's/agility training___4pm weight training
Tuesday:6am plyo's/agility training___4pm weight training
Wednesday: Yoga
Thursday:6am plyo's/agility training___4pm weight training
Friday:6am plyo's/agility training___4pm weight training
Saturday: Deep Tissue Rub
Sunday:OFF
Var: 60mg's everyday for 14weeks
IGF1-LR3: 60mcg's PWO M,T,TH,F (50 days on 2 weeks off then repeat)
Supplements:
2 a day Animal Pak
1 a day Animal Flex
2 a day Animal *****
Glyco-Maize: 35g after 6am plyo's and 70g PWO 4pm right before the IGF
Extend BCAA's:1 serving before and after plyo's and weights
ON Gold standard: three shakes a day 2 are pwo plyo's and weights
Casien: Before bed with ZMA
* I know i'm leaving a few things out but this counts for about 90% of it.
My diet is pretty legit I feel...Only get carbs from oatmeal, yams, and brown rice. Lots of chicken, tuna, steak, and salmon. Good amount of greens too and over a gallon of water a day.
Im training for a Football combine in may so I gotta get everything on track and laid out. Any input on the Var or Igf dose or anything else for that matter?

I also thought of staying on my IGF while off the Var for the 4 weeks for the main purpose to help keep hte gains.

I got blood work done after being off the IGF and var for 2 weeks..I'll post my results soon.

IGF lr3 is soooo tempting. Im just skeptical because its so new, and for some reason cancer is in the back of my mind I dont know why. lol. but i have only seen phenominal results.
nice gains btw, you really tightened up

UPDATE: Back on my last 4 weeks of var+IGF1LR3 this time i'm running Var at 40mg's a day and IGF at 40mcg's only post work out so 4 days a week. I'm a little lighter than I would like at 232lbs, however my stregnth is unreal so cant complain to much. But they would like me at 240lbs.
So with about 5 weeks till my football combine I was thinking to run prop at 100mg's EOD for the last 5 weeks. My concern is the water weight gain which I hope will be very small being on var and knowing i've been on IGF im expecting great results.
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 232lbs..give or take a few
40yd: 4.6
Vertical: 35"
225 rep max: 30 reps
20yd Short Shuttle: 4.31
Broad Jump: 10'0"
Expectations: Good solid lean gains and since I've been on and off IGF Im hoping the claimed "New Muscle Cells" will make these gains even greater!!
Concerns: I dont wanna gain weight and strength so fast that I tear a hamstring or quad before my tryout. I've been training 16 weeks for this one shot so I would REALLY HATE for that to happen. I dont wanna gain alot of water weight either and slow down...I would rather have speed and be lighter than bigger and slower.
Feedback?

just curious...isnt 40mg of Var very low for a guy?? ive read that some guys do as much as 80-100mg per day of var cause its so easy on your body????
just curious b/c the op is a big mofo and 40mg of var seems low.

I think you should go with the Prop for the last 5 weeks - just use an AI such as Arimidex to control the water weight. Should be low to begin with on prop, and with an AI probably nil. Should get you right up to 240lbs with the 40mgs of Var helping keep you tight as well!! Nice work thus far....

Oxandrolone in the treatment of HIV-associated weight loss in men: a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of oxandrolone in promoting body weight and body cell mass (BCM) gain in HIV-associated weight loss. METHODS: Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. Two hundred sixty-two HIV-infected men with documented 10% to 20% weight loss or body mass index < or =20 kg/m were randomized to placebo or to 20, 40, or 80 mg of oxandrolone daily. After 12 weeks, subjects were allowed to receive open-label oxandrolone at a dose of 20 mg for another 12 weeks. RESULTS: Body weight increased in all groups, including the group receiving placebo, during the double-blind phase (1.1 +/- 2.7, 1.8 +/- 3.9, 2.8 +/- 3.3, and 2.3 +/- 2.9 kg in placebo and 20-, 40-, and 80-mg oxandrolone groups, respectively; all P < 0.014 vs. baseline). BCM increased from baseline in all groups (0.45 +/- 1.7, 0.91 +/- 2.2, 1.5 +/- 2.5, and 1.8 +/- 1.8 kg in placebo and 20-, 40-, and 80-mg oxandrolone groups, respectively). At 12 weeks, only the gain in weight at the 40-mg dose of oxandrolone and the gain in BCM at the 40- and 80-mg doses of oxandrolone were greater than those in the placebo group, however. Oxandrolone treatment was associated with significant suppression of sex hormone-binding globulin, luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and total and free testosterone levels . Treatment was generally well tolerated but accompanied by significant increases in transaminases and low-density lipoprotein as well as decreases in high-density lipoprotein. CONCLUSION: Oxandrolone administration is effective in promoting dose-dependent gains in body weight and BCM in HIV-infected men with weight loss.

Ha Ha AGREED!!! Got some blood work done after being on the var for 6 weeks...and lets just say my test was that of an old man!!! I'm back on the var as I stated above for my tryout prep, but taking test prop as well at 125mg's eod for 5 weeks till my tryout....Have Arimidex , HCG , Nolv for pct this go around. I do think Im gonna take the Arima now though and run during and probably 4-6 weeks past my last inject and var dosage. Thanks for the post!!!

I took the IGF for the sole purpose to repair some previous injuries..pulled hamstring..ankles etc. My goal with IGF is to increae the connective tissue and by having more muscle cells repair my previous hamstring injury.
Var was for strength gains and fat lose. Worked out great for me. Now tha Im lean as I wanna be, Im gonna take some prop with my var my last 5 weeks before my tryout. Knowing prop had little water weight when compared to enth or a longer ester of test. With the var this should really keep my gains lean and solid.

So heres what I got for my PCT which starts in 3 weeks. Im on Var @ 40mg's ed and Tesp prop 125mg's eod and soon to start Arimadex.
Var 1-6
Prop 2-6
Arimadex 5-10
Arimadex 1mg eod for 6 weeks
HCG 250iu's ED for 3 weeks
Vit E 400ius ED
Does this look good since Im only running Prop for 5 weeks and its a shorter cycle?

Lookin good! Well executed plan my man! Keep up the great work! Also I get deep tissue massage on the weekend they work great on separating muscle fibers for better fed muscles. Hurts like hell but worth the pain.
