No they wouldn't. So long as you remain within the terminal half life of the compound, less frequent dosing will create a higher peak serum value but also a lower trough. More frequent pinning eliminates much of this fluctuation and you get higher troughs but at the expense of lower peaks. At some point serum levels will be the same or cross each other but it's only for a short period of time.
