    Test/Var 2nd Cycle - on TRT

I just started my 2nd Cycle and want to dial it in. I currently have Gear on hand, Test C/E, ADEX, VAR and HCG
My Goal is Build more Muscle without packing on too much weight. I used to be 300lb Fat Guy, It's been a 10 year process to get were I am. (See Picture Below)

    AGE:52
    Weight-214 lbs
    BF: 18-19 %
Cycle history: First Cycle, 5-6 months ago, I ran 500mg Test-E/C for 12 weeks and had great result. I put on a 20lbs and some good muscle. Even though I put this weight on, My waist stayed the same size, which I was happy about.

    2nd Cycle Plan
    Weeks 1-12 Test C/E - 500mg a week (250mg Sun/250mg wed)
    Weeks 5-12 Anavar 50mg ED
PCT Back to TRT dose of 200mg a week of Test C

ADEX and HCG as needed. I get blood work every month to watch E2 level and Hemocrit.
1st Cycle I didn't need ADEX until about week 8 when e2 levels went up and gave blood once to bring Hemocrit in line. Other that that, I had No Issues. After Cycle I went back to TRT dose without any sides and remained feeling great. I don't see alot of Post about Cycling then back to TRT. 3 weeks after going back to TRT Dose, ALL my Blood work was great.

I Know Food and Exercise are key in the amount of weight I gain on this cycle. Any suggestions on the Gear.
I think 500mg Test is good and I see that VAR in weeks 5-12 is usual. Any input on Test Dose or VAR more than weeks 5-12

Only suggestion would be to drop some BF before starting.

But I have to give credit where it's due; physique is looking good for a 52 year old man, well done.

I agree!!ive ran legit var in the past and besides the synergistic effect it seemed to have with other compounds, it seemed expensive and weak..

Great life-changing transformation Mike! Even though var is about the least hepatotoxic oral out there you should still run liver protection along with it. Get some NAC off of Amazon and add it to your protocol. Are you actually testing E2 or just estradiol? I'd suggest testing your CBC, CMP, E2 as well. Also consider PSA, particularly mid cycle to see how it's holding up.

Re HCG , it's not "as needed." It should be used as part of your TRT protocol. Same as it should be on cycle.

That is Only a Guess on Body Fat because I gained 20 lbs My First Cycle, Although my waist stayed the same size.

Before I started my first Cycle I was 15-16% measured my the Handheld Device.
Look at the picture and tell me what you think the Body Fat was, I was pretty lean.

Thanks for Credit, I pretty Happy, Been Heavy all my life until I reached 40 and changed everything.

    Thanks KELKEL,

    Just ordered NAC from Amazon..
I like to get Blood Work Before, During and After Cycle. I alternate between Male Hormone Panel and Female Hormone Panel as the Female one is more comprehensive. Both Included CBC, CMP and Estradiol. Since I alternate Blood Test I get PSA every other Test. I actually didn't start ADEX and HCG until mid cycle last time when Estradiol start to climb and well, you know why I started HCG. I gave blood when Hemocrit got High.

I appreciate your detailed advice. Guys like you are what helped me do the Homework before first cycle.
Here is bloodwork results, last 5 tests.

I bought a Home BP monitor and I don't feel they are accurate. Mid First Cycle my BP did go up and I felt it.
Because of this I did bloodwork again, Hemocrit and RBC elevated, so I gave Blood. I felt instantly better and that lasted throughout the first cycle.

If the cuff is too big or too small then it will skew readings

If there's an option for the Sensitive Estrogen Assay do so. It's more expensive but it's accurate. Standard estradiol is not. I think discounted labs has it for about $40 or so. If it went through Labcorp via insurance they'd charge over $200. Amazing.

I'll check into that. I use LabsMD for My Blood Work. I like them becasue they report Test levels over 1500.
    They have several different Estrogen Test. Although, the one I had says;
"An estradiol test is a blood test that measures the amount of estradiol in your blood. It's also called an E2 "test.
I'll look into discounted labs. I'll test each month, I don't want to guess if I'm on Cycle and I have an issue. I want to be pro-active.

Attached is the Hormone Panel for Men. Next Month I'll get the Hormone Panel for Female. (It says for Men and Women) Just more specific on certain levels.

Just did my Bloodwork, I gave Blood and started ADEX. Those Levels look pretty good.
I see T3 and T4 numbers that I'm investigating, but I don't think they are cause for concern.
Glucose is a little high. but I drank coffee in the morning of the test when I was supposed to be fasting. Glucose has never been High Before. Testosterone Total is 3642, that's High, but I guess that's a Good thing, I feel Great.
BP is fine. Can you guys look at this Blood Test and Remark on anything you think is a concern. Thanks.

Here are my Blood Test Results. It's Estrodial Test, not E2. I'm still looking for it.

    Your cholesterol is phenomenal.
T3 uptake slightly elevated may not be that significant. What is though is your T4 is low yet your TSH is normal. Could indicate sub-clinical hypothyroidism.
    Liver values are perfect.
    Estradiol is fine.
    PSA great.
    Killer test levels! Quality gear!

I don't see anything to be alarmed about.

I'd rather look into that poor IGF-1 than thyroid. Imho you could benefit from GH optimization.

Great, I appreciate you looking at it. Sometimes the HIGHs and LOWS concerm me a little, that's why I track on a Recap to verify previous result. OK, Now Dumb Question, Which result Abbreviation shows my Liver Function?

Thanks for looking at this. I was kinda thinking the same thing. I want to discuss this with my Doctor, but I have to wait till this cycle ends and my T levels go back to normal. I did look at this value from an Off Cycle test and it was also at 100. This could also explain why I struggled with weight for some many years.

I will also read up and see if there is a natural way to bring this value up or not. Thanks Again.

I guess this was not such a dumb question, I wouldn't have guessed unless I googled each result.
I am taking NAC to help with liver function as previously suggested from somebody on this board. Thank You
