Its good to see this up here again. Newbies should think twice before reusing pins. They are dirt cheap, so there is no excuse.

Reusing needles is completly retarded. If you wanna increase your chances of dying go right ahead. Great post Big Bow....This should help alot of people with there reasoning

I don't even want to use the same needle I use to draw with.

One needle to draw, another to inject. That's the only way anyone should even consider using.

im not even joking - I know of a guy who has used the same needle for over 16 shots. When he told me this "my dad found my siringe and took it away" I said WHAT? You use the same one? and he replied yeah I ahve used it for all my shots.
I couldnt believe it. I told him they are .30 each its not worth risking infection, and its dangerous.
some people are really dumb

I've had an abcess before, not cool. Especially since pinz are $20 for 100...

I've had serveral abcesses, and treated them myself. It's not fun at all draining 15 cc's of fluid out of your shoulder with an 18 guage pin and flushing it with BA. Why anyone would reuse a pin is beyond me.

I would have been a lot better off going to the doctors, but honestly i HATE doctor visits and explaining to them why i thought 3 cc's of t400 is a good idea in my shoulder. It refilled about 4 times, had to keep draining it over and over.

how exactly did you "drain" it ??? did you inject into the area and pull it out into the syringe ??

Yup, with an 18 guage pin. I had originally planned on using a scalpel but my wife probably would have left me if she saw me slicing my shoulder open. I probably would have recovered a lot quicker if i had some injectable anti biotics on hand. Oh well.
