Another newbie has landed..
Hello all,
I am officially now a *non-lurker*. I have been reading this board for a few months now and find it both educational and entertaining. I decided to register because there were some questions I had that I know some could have answered.
I'm not looking to become massive but stronger.I think I have decent size for now. I play competitive softball from Connecticut to Florida and look for any edge possible to further myself. Especially since I shattered my knee 4 years ago.
I look forward to the advice from all of you. In jest or not..

I live in North Jersey, about 15-20 minutes from Manhattan. Are you originally from NJ?

Softball
Hey Jersey, Welcome to the board Bro. I play open class competitive softball to. I also blew out my knee last year (ACL) playing. I'm on As now to see if I can reach the 500ft level. I could hit one 400 last year. Anyway, glad to have ya and good luck with softball.

Softball and back-up
Frank,
I play B class and am about 20 pounds too light to play Open/Major class. But I can hit it as far as you guys. heh
As for the ACL, I honestly feel for you. I wish that's all I did. I shattered my knee cap into 30 pieces, severed my quad tendon and do not have any cartilage left. I have 2 titanium rods in there, 4 screws and the patella is wrapped with wire. My x-rays are a work of art. Dali and Picasso would be jealous.
Primo, Us sarcastic tri-staters stick together. We are like the Ducky Boys from The Wanderers movie. We come at you from every angle!!

Ahh, good ole LBI. My buddy used to bounce at The Ketch. I normally head down to margate and chase after the Philly girls. Another buddy has a house in Longport.
