source check problems

I have gotten source checks a lot on here, but right now the people who say they are doing them are not answering my pm's. Is there a problem or a new post requirement I need to know about?

i dont know how long ago you sent them. But not ever mod logs on every day. We all have a life too. And sometime we get a ton of pm's so it alot to go through at once. Even if its a quick easy answer you have to wait 90 sec between sending pm's.
So for me to reply to 10 pm's even with a quick answer takes 20 mins minimum.

Be patient. Post like these dont help your cause.

I was completely sincere and I wasn't trying to be a tool.. I will be patient. I wasn't trying to be "that guy". I was just wondering if anything had changed between February and now as far as source check resources. But that answers my question, thanks!

You have to have more post. 50 I think. Then you can pm them

remember, source checks are completely voluntary, and not reflective of the board. some vets do source checks, others do not. 95% of the requests I get are from newbs with fewer than 100 posts. Since I'm really not sure who they are, and they have not earned/developed a reputation yet, I have a tendency to shy away from source checks for them. It's a risky business, as you never know who you are dealing with.....
