flu..!
i'm down with a flu..! the weather has been ****ty..rapid transition between hot and cold..and i guess my body, being depleted from all the dieting just can't get used to it..i've missed 2 cardio days..and tomorrow is leg day..i'm thinking of replacing leg day with light cardio..and fri will be light cardio again..but do you guys think i should stop my thermogenics for a day or two and continue when i feel better?

Yeah, if you have a show coming up, rest. Get back to it as soon as you can, and double up on that Vitamin C.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I was reading up on some bodybuilders and their past results and it seems that it's pretty common to get the flu on the day of or near a show. Is this true? If so, why? Is it because AAS shuts down your immune system? Can extreme dieting have the same effect? Just curious.

While dieting your immune system is vulnerable to sickness, yes.

I am 3 days out from leaving for Cancun and I woke up early in the morning today with a very sore throat
My nose is also running, I think got the flu too. So you are not alone. I hope I can still train at full intensity today.... cardio had to be cut short because breathing hurt my throat a lot.
