jerky
is turkey or lean beef jerky and peanuts or almonds a good protein and fat meal on the go

Usually jerky is a good choice, just make sure they don't use lots of sugar in the marinades! I don't really concern myself/clients w/sodium, as if you are drinking enough water, it's fine, you will excrete the excess. Only time sodium is an issue is pre-contest, or before your final physique presentation.

thing is swole most jerkys have about 3-4 grams of carbs per serving and i need three servings to hit my protein needs for that meal is that to much carbs

Just make your own like I do. Use top round or london broil, and a food dehydrator.
I use soy sauce, liquid smoke, splenda, garlic powder, and some red pepper flakes.
This way you know what you are ingesting.

SC, got any recomendations on a GOOD food dehydrator? I pretty much eat beef jerky all day long between meals and shakes and it would probably taste better if i could give it my own touch.
