    post workout

After i do my weight training(mon-wed) i do cardio about 10 mins after. I was wondering if i should drink my post workout shake before my cardio or after my cardio. I do cardio for 45 mins so thats means if i wait till after i would be waiting an hour for my post workout shake,so watch u guys think?

i would drink a shake with dextrose for insulin spike to replenish glycogen that is lost during workout. Foods tend to digest slower and may not supply muscles with nutrients fast enough...

Not great either way you look at it.

You want to down a PWO shake within 15mins PWO, but, if you decide to do cardio directly afterwards, you're going to use that for your energy instead of your stored fat.

If you wait til after cardio, you're going to blunt lipolysis early, and, you will miss the window in which you should have downed your PWO shake.

Split your cardio and weight sessions up.
