pro/fat/carbs all in same meal?
what do you think about having all macro's in breakfast while your lean bulking. I am talking like one tbsp of natural peanut butter added to oatmeal and egg whites?

Some can get away with doing this, and some really can't w/out it affecting them in a negative manner. I don't think it'll do THAT much damage, no, as all of the items are low glycemic. I'd give it a shot and see how it goes over the course of a few weeks.

Also, I can see PB in oatmeal sort of, but not w/egg whites!

I don't see anything wrong with it...and i do it myself.
I agree with Swole on the point that it is personalised... Some people can get away with it. Some people can't

ya I have been doing it for sometime just with my breakfast and have still made a lot of progress. It only adds extra 8g of fat to my breakfast so i dont think it is substantial enough to hinder any gains.

i have always done that on my breakfast...Oatmeal flax with 2 cups of fat free milk..so fat comes from the flax, the carbs from oats and milk and all with egg whites from my protein..i have really had trouble with it but now im gonna try spliting everything up see how it goes.

I have just started doing this and incorporating more fats into my breakfast. I couldn't stomach my 8 meals a day so narrowed it down a bit. In the past 2 weeks I have felt great with my lean bulking diet. Shred, you have relatively high metabolism, so I don't see this being a problem.

if he gi is low enough it shouldnt be a problem at all. Especialy considering fat lowers gi even more.
I wouldnt consider oatmeal such a low gi though.
