PWO nutrition for abs?
I like to work abs on cardio days in the evening. I do 5 exercises for 30 minutes and some serious stretching moves. The total length is 45 minutes. I checked my heart rate sometime and it gets to 60% or higher very often. I have been having 55 grams in protein via whey and a solid meal 1 1/2 hours later. I have 0 carbs on this day. Should I stick some in the morning or post or leave it alone. I know this is too much for abs but I like to stay busy and it is like a second cardio session to me. I make sure I wait 2 hours to work abs after eating by big top round.

You may want to have a low gi carb/pro meal after. I don't see you having to replinish glycogen stores to any great degree, no, so it can be a small offering of carbs to top off your stores that were depleted from the ab work and over the course of the day.

Thanks Swole, 1/2 cup of oats , 1 scoop of whey and 8 egg whites with splenda ketchup sound ok or do I need more than the 27 carbs in the oats?
