    99% Diet!

I've always been under the impression that this game (whether bulking or cutting) is 99% diet. OK, maybe 75%, coupled with rest and training. Question is, is it feasible that you could bulk cleanly and keep fasted am cardio 6-7 days a week for 30 minutes while cranking your calories up to the 4,000 mark and then when it's time to shed the pounds, cardio wouldn't change, but you'd drop your cals by 500-1,000?

i think the cardio would become less effective as you used it through bulking so when you begin to cut, you'd be doing a lot of cardio right out of the gates, like starting at 40 or 45 minutes per session. obviously the longer duration cardio is something you'd like to utilize as your cutting got harder.

this is my opinion, others will probably have better advice. i'd keep cardio while bulking but maybe 3 to 4 times a week at 25 minutes a session, just for the cardiovascular benefits. when cutting starts, then i'd begin to ramp it up.
