Main Page---Food Profiles are off.
For example: 1/2 cooked oats does not have 13 grams of carbs. It would be helpful if all the information provided was accurate. Can something be done about this?? Or looked over?
I think what we should have is a link to a more accurate set of maco's along with the GI rateing of all foods - with a sticky at the top of the diet forum.

Actually, that information is correct as 1/2 cup of COOKED oats does have between 11-13 grams of carbs. You may be thinking of an un-cooked measurement.
I believe what we have is great, but if you have a comprehensive presentation that takes the cake, by all means introduce it to everyone so they can judge and see if it's something we should adopt.

Thanks for the corection.
Now that we are talking oats here - what the heck happends to the rest of the carbs during preperation?
....and when putting together a diet - how is one supposed to get it right?
I by no means am a scholar when it comes to diet/nutrician/facts. So I will not be able to come up with something better than the main page. But thanks for the encouragement.
