Avocado, a good source of fat??
I was wondering if I could sub. avocado for flax. I am trying to lean up and I usually put about 1/4 cup on my salad as my fat source. What do ya'll think?

No you should not Substitute that. Avacado will not provide you with all EFA's.

not substitute no. But avacado is a awsome source of fat. You still need to get a few grams of flax.

my 3 main sources of fat while cutting is olive oil, whole avacados and saturated fats from meat. I add 10 grams or so of flax ontop of that.

flax seeds pretty much goes through the body without getting digested. Your gonna have to ground them right before eating(dont buy pre grounded flax seeds, all the good stuff in it has gotten ruined by the air exposure). With supplements I guess you mean flax oil caps. Sure it works but flax oil is cheaper.
