Need Carb Help With Cycle Diet - Starting Monday
I'm planning my diet for my cycle starting Monday. I have enough Protein (330g) in my diet, I have enough fats (100g) and yes, majority will come from Udo's, BUT here's my problem....
I need 650g Carbs?
Any suggestions as to what I can eat that's practical and efficient? Preferably low-glycemic carbs.
I have:
whole wheat bagels
banana's
carbs from protein shakes
whole wheat pasta
Beans
But I need more. There's no way I'll have 650g a day from just these. I'm trying to keep it a clean as possible...
Any suggestions?

LOL I like that Udo's!
I use Maltodexdrin powder to increase my carbs, adding a scoop or two to each meal is very useful, I have to do this as eating the six solid meals I do a t work etc I can't be spending too much time eating.
Brown Rice
Wholewheat Pasta
Baked potatoes
Oats - essential lol
to name but a few.
I would suggest as before if your are not currently eating 650g of carbs each day increase this gradually over two-three weeks starting from your present intake.

I have to second the whole wheat pasta....if you can find a good brand, shit can be mighty tasty...
BTW...There is a brand of bread called eziekiel(sp) bread made from grains, sprouts, stuff like that....wheat free....about as low on the GI as you can go!!
