almond milk
well I gonna grab some the other day bcuz id figure it would be better the regular milk. Then looking at the nutritional facts it does has less fat less cals....but it also has a lot less protein....so my question is is there a real beneficial reason to taking almond milk and why not just take 1% of fatfree milk since it has less fat less cals and the same protein as reg milk....thanks

The big draw for Almond milk is zero sugar, not for protein.
Cows milk has 6-8 grams of protein per serving, BUT it has 13grams of sugar.

I used it from time to time for my super shakes. I found a recipe that called for it, but used water when I ran out and didn't notice a bit of difference.

There is a few types, sweetened, unsweetened, unsweetened w/ vanilla flavor. I choose the last one to keep the sugar down.

As stated, the benefit of using Almond 'milk' over cow's milk is the almost non-existent sugar content. Note it's not actually a milk at all... it doesn't come from an animal obviously, but does have a consistency similar to milk.

I LOVE almond milk ... Although I do not incorporate it into my diet at the moment, it was a staple in my diet for quite a while. The Unsweetened Chocolate was my fav - only 45 cals per serving, 3.5g fat & 2g carbs... I'd make my shakes w/ it or heat it up in the microwave for 45 seconds & add the Hazlenut Splenda to it as a little treat every now & then...
However, it's more of a filler... Hard to fit into macros and almost not worth it if you're like me who only has 1500 cals a day to work w/ .. I'd rather eat food! Lol. Damn it.... Now I want Almond Milk haha!
