Low Water Retention and Arterial Plaque through foods?
I thought that I had a good idea of what foods cause water retention and which ones dont. My last cycle seemed to be all water gains on a good clean diet. Hopefully some of you pros can give me a better idea.
So which foods will cause you to retain water and which ones wont? Or is it more of a question of getting the right combination of protein to carbs?
Also to reduce the possibility of arterial plaque which is more important, to eat foods low in cholesterol or foods low in saturated fats? I know both are important but which is more when you have a low HDL(right?) caused by AS.

A list of some foods that have natural diuretic effects:
Celery watercress carrots
Food to Avoid:
Salt or highly processed foods containing sodium can contribute to water retention. That's because when you take in extra sodium, your body will retain more water to dilute it.
There are also many herbal teas which are said to contain mild diuretic effects.
