first meal of the day.. carb/pro vs fat/pro
hey i was wondering what would happen if instead of my first meal being oatmeal and protein.. i would change it to protein and fat in the form of eggs and bacon? whats the disadvantage of it if any...?

Bulking or cutting, I use fat and protein for my first meal of the day. I do cardio 6-7 days a wk for 50 minutes whther bulking or cutting, and that first meal allows me to keep fat off while bulking up. I put 1/2 of my calories down in two meals following training, with the 4 meals before training split with the remaining cals

ya either way bulk or cutting I think it better having Pro/Fat meal

i go with P/F as well so i can use my carbs for more useful things like PWO and PPWO

bro, where is the protein 2 eggs and a 2 slice of bacon, I would make it 2 or 3 whole eggs with 5-6 egg whites

you need to up you protein more, at your weight you should have at least 350g

it would bump the protein to 318 grams.. i think thats sufficient..

I usually drink a protein shake right when I get up, just so I have something in me until the eggs are done and what not.
I would probably just go with eggs and ditch the bacon, and just get whatever fat i need from the eggs. If you wanted to keep the bacon in, thats probably alright, but thats just what i would do.
Btw, I would go for no less then 400g protein/day.

i usually have a protein shake with some dextrose the moment i wake up..why are u guys having protein and fats when u wake up? no carbs? or am i doing something wrong?

Why? What activity have you done that demands you replinish glycogen and with DEXTROSE???????

egh since diesel insists i'll throw in a shake prior to my first meal 50 grams of isolate with water.. anymore + or -?

I dont insist that you have to take a protein shake prior your 1st meal, It just your first meal of the day is 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon only 14g of protein that aint ****, I would actually save the shake for a later time and just eat a ****load of eggs in the morning

eggplanet, why would you ever have Whey&Dex first thing in the morning, I hope you dont do cardio right after cause that would basically be pointless, as for fatloss purposes

i was thinking that my body has been depleted after my sleep..i was thinking that i should send some protein into my muscles asap..and thought that dex will spike some insulin and transport the whey faster..so i'm doing the wrong thing? what should i be eating and how much the moment i awake then?
