    Prost workout shake

    preotein/dextrose

    i take in afta my workout protein shake with ultrafuel should i take it in still on a day i am off from the weights

    I would definetly still take i one your days off because that is the day you are recovering right.. so your going to need that shake to recover. I also like to up my calories about 500 on my days off to get that bit of extra fuel for my muscles.

    No. It's a POST WORKOUT SHAKE. You don't need a fast acting sugar on your off day. Do you WANT to store it all as fat. You've been around long enough to know that. Protein yes, dextrose, NO. Come on...

    well most would say that you don't want fast acting sugars on your day off and I tend to agree with them, but a wide variety of G.I. indexed carbs are important. For instance I know craig titus drinks 2 gallons of gatorade even on the days he doesn't work out while he's bulking. So if your bulking I would say leave it in, but if your cutting which it apears you are I would say take it out, but maybe have it with a slower digesting carb so you get a tiny bit of an insulin spike to get the protein into the muscle.

    even with bulking, why would you want to raise insulin that high only to have it crash and then crave more high GI carbs...off day cutting should have only one (or none) carb meal in the AM and it should be oats or fiber one...you dont want the insulin response.

    Agreed, but not p.w. if your doing cardio first thing in the a.m.

    good point....if doing AM cardio then pro/fat meal after will help keep lipolysis going.

    im an asshole took this guys advice and didnt wait 4 the legends imput now. i will learn from my mistakes next time rambo ill just pm u...............ur the one who has given most my info now i feel stupid LOL thanx man
