Well, not much better honestly. R U sure 6 oz. of chicken has 62 grams of protein? Nah, more like 35-40......
Cardio after you have a pwo shake???????? NEVER..........also, the pwo shake is not ideal at all, u need a 2 to 1 ratio of simple carbs to protein. Working out, then eating, then doing cardio is not going to get u anywhere fat loss and muscle gain wise, it'll over-train you to hell and derail your efforts.
Your protein only meals also need fats in them if you are not going to utilize carbs. I'd begin there, then we can work on the other things.

Swole covered the right stuff...
6 oz of turkey = 170 gram = 130 calories and 34 g of protein
6 oz of COOKED chicken = 170 grams = 270 calories, 52.7 protein, 6 fat
6 oz of RAW chicken = 170 grams = 187 calories, 39 protein, 2 fat

Ok..any recomendations of what i should add for fats?? almonds etc? I followed the format for the sticky and it did mention fats but the layout had protein and veggies meals that why i did i this way.
So if i change the cardio to the am and fats to meal that dont have efa, and add more carbs to my pwo shake should i be ok?Last edited by IronPumper80; 03-12-2004 at 09:15 AM.

swolecat, I posted a thread in the precontest section. If you could review that and post your thoughts. Especially, in negating the use of Mcts in precontest cutting phase.
thanks

Next time just place a link to the article, it saves me time, thanks!
I've used MCT's instead of flaxseed oils and other fats in the weeks leading up to my FINAL week of preparation, and it seemed to work fine. However, I prefer to use regular fats such as flax/omegas 3,6,9/almonds/etc. just for personal health reasons and variety amongst good fats.
I find it weird that after dropping MCT's all of a sudden the athletes dropped bodyfat quickly, as we don't really know if that is the only reason they did. (Or if they really did, we take this at face value) As well, it doesn't list how many tablespoons they were utilizing daily, when they were taking them, with what, etc. Those are important for obvious reasons.
Best thing to do would be to perform a trial run utilizing them in your own particular plan and see how they work for you as opposed to not having them, along any other changes you'd make to your dietary intake as a result of not including them.
Workout time!
