HRT or TRT through the VA?

My father goes to the VA and since being on here and researching I think he would do great on RT. Hes 64 and in good shape.

Does anyone have experience with the VA and HRT or TRT

I might be underestimating the VA, but I'm a little concerned how much they're up to snuff on HRT and treatments associated with it. Surprisingly, there's so many PCP's that don't have a clue about this stuff. You might encourage him to take a look at this forum and get familiar with what other guys are doing for a TRT regiment. It would also give him the chance to run some ideas up the flagpole when he starts discussing his situation with his doctor.

my friend gets his through VA.. but they are fond of patches and such.. i'll ask him what he thinks.. i know it took over a year to get it going via that route..
