HCG-Can you do it IM

I was wondering if you could do HCG IM. Maybe combine it with your Test shot. I know you would probably have to do two shots a week, but I was just wondering.

I was told you can by my doc. But I think sub-q is better for some reason.

There have been studies showing it's slightly better IM than SQ, but not by much.

However, definitely don't want to mix "oil" with "water!"

Have done it IM once and seemed OK. Not sure whether the quad or belly fat would be less painful to inject into. Neither is very painful though. No opinion on mixing the HCG with your test. cyp. dose.

Where do people come up with things like this? There is absolutely no issue mixing oil with water based injectables and yes HCG can be done either way.

Wouldn't be that much different than combining t with b12 - which is done frequently - so my opinion would be that it is ok. In fact if you angle the syr the hcg will help get every last drop of t out before the hcg enters the needle.

CAre to elaborate, just getting first hcg filled today and was curious to mixing them

This was one of the first things I asked my Doc. Taking HCG IM is only necessary for Fertility Issues where the dosing schedule is much higher per injection. There is no reason for TRT patients to be taking this via IM @ only 250 IUs etc. per dose.

One shot vs two sounds like his reason. I'm guessing.

That was my exact reasoning. Typically a Test dose is once a week. HCG is twice a week. If you could mix them you could do two shots instead of three.

If you're doing the SQ route with a slin pin it takes alot of pressure to get the oil (top layer) in but unless you are extremely careful when you reach the water-based, lower layer it will be forced in like its coming out of a fire hose.

Some guys report pain when mixing water based with oil based stuff.

I bet if we took a poll it would go 50/50.

My Physician, an A4M and TRT specialist, told me explicitly to never mix Test with hCG . I've read the same in my studies as well.

I am very interested in learning where you obtained this information redz and can send some supporting documentation. I've always been interested in this contrary to what my MD has stated.
